Design Notes

In order to allow the recombinase to enter the nucleus and function, we added SV40 NLS to the front end. To detect protein content, we added the FLAG tag.


Source

The EF1α promoter was cloned from a plasmid borrowed from other laboratories in the school. We found the sequence of PhiC31-RDF from the literature and synthesized this sequence.
